Le lendemain matin, nous nous dirigeons vers Seattle où nous passons la journée. Il fait beau, le marché du samedi est bondé et il y a des groupes de musiciens ici et là au grand plaisir des passants.
En soirée, nous nous rendons à Bellingham et campons sur la route du Mt Baker. Dimanche, c'est l'exploration du glacier Coleman au pied du légendaire volcan de 3285m qu'on peut voir de Victoria. La journée est magnifique et le soleil brille de tout ces rayons... Les nuages se font plus présents lors de notre ascension du Heliotrope ridge et notre montée s'achève à 2195m... malheureusement sans avoir accès à la magnifique vue vers l'ouest sur Pudget Sound et Victoria!
Vraisemblablement les derniers virages d'une saison de ski mémorable qui se termine à son image. En sandales dans la neige, nous rigolons en nous remémorant les ruisseaux et le sentier semi-enneigé que nos skis viennent d'endurer. Dans quelques années ils prolongeront peut-être la muraille du village local!!
